Welcome to Trader's Coffee House on the Web!

Trader's Coffee House is located at 21311 Garrett Highway, just 1/2 mile south of the route 219 Bridge crossing Deep Creek Lake, in Garrett County, Maryland. (For detailed directions, click here!) The shop is owned and operated by Brenda McDonnell. She is also creator and owner of Brenda's Pizzeria, where you can experience the best pie at the lake!

We open daily at 7:00am, for you early risers. Be sure to stop by and savor a fresh brewed cup of specialty roasted coffee. We proudly serve and support Oregon Coffee Roasters, an independent roasting company located in North Plains, Oregon.

We also offer tantalizing selection of teas, frozen coffees, fruit smoothies, and Italian soda's. We bake all our pastries, muffins, cookies, and scones daily so they are always fresh! If you're looking for a little more, in the morning, we have home made waffles, quiche, yogurt parfaits, and fresh bagels. When you visit be sure to check out our daily specials!

Don't just think of us as someplace to stop in the mornings. Come by in the afternoon or evening to indulge yourself with our gelato, sorbet, and gourmet desserts! You may also enjoy a glass of wine or a cold imported Italian beer before or after dinner.

As a service to our four-legged friends, we offer pet tie-ups outside and bowls for fresh drinking water. In out pet corner within the shop we offer a wide variety of pet books, toys, and even freshly homemade dog biscuits supplied to us by Bubbies Biscuits (Click here to read more about this local business!)

Don't forget that we are a Wireless High Speed Internet Café! We provide this service free for our customers. Just bring your laptop in and log on, and enjoy a hot fresh cup of our gourmet coffee!

Trader's Coffee House is the Gathering Place at Trader's Landing! While you are here be sure to ask the staff for information about local events, vacation events and community news. We are happy to accommodate groups that wish to gather for a business meeting or personal catch up session! Please give us a call in advance so we can adequately prepare for your arrival! We are also more than happy to prepare anything on our menu for you and your guests to enjoy! When you visit, be sure to browse around the shop! We carry our coffees, teas, and chai in retail sizes so you can enjoy your favorite coffee house beverages any time! We also have a wide selection of travel, ceramic, and pottery mugs that are sure to please. Our shop is stocked full of fun coffee and wine accessories, gourmet treats, locally made candles, books for all ages, and knitting accessories provided by The Yarn Shop in Accident Maryland.
